Coldest Night of the Year Walk-a-thon
First Christian Reformed Church, Sarnia, Ontario
Saturday, February 24, 2018 - 5:00 PM
Thirty three thousand Canadians have nowhere to call home tonight. They're homeless, sleeping on streets, in cars, abandoned buildings or in a shelter. But on February 24th, thousands of Canadians will do something about it – including in Sarnia. Sarnia is one of 120+ cities taking part in this year's Coldest Night of the Year – Canada's National Walk for Homelessness.
The Coldest Night is a two, five and ten kilometre walk that raises funds and awareness for those serving the hungry, homeless and hurting in their communities. The walk in Sarnia will raise funds for NeighbourLink Sarnia-Lambton, an organization that seeks to serve our neighbours in our local community who struggle to meet their basic needs.
So bundle up and join your friends and family raising pledges and walking on February 24th in the Coldest Night of the Year. To sign up and walk, or to donate, go to www.coldestnightoftheyear.org
From British Columbia to Newfoundland, and on the streets of Sarnia, we'll be walking February 24th. Join us – because it's cold out there.
