Church Updates:
Blue Water Free Methodist has suspended services until April 12th
Colonial Woods Church, the services are closed to the public but will be live streamed on their website this Sunday.
Croswell United Methodist, services is closed to the public, but will live stream on their Facebook page
Griswold Street Baptist, Wednesday night children's and youth programs are cancelled until April 8th.
Port Huron First United Methodist has suspended services at this time.
River Church, the service is closed to the public but will be streamed on their website at 10 am
Ross Bible Church, Wednesday night Awana and bible study are cancelled until April 8th.

The following is a lists of impacts, cancellations or closures at this time:

 
By order of the Gov. Whitmer all restaurants, cafes, coffee houses, bars, clubs, movie theaters, performance venues, Gyms, fitness centers and spas are to be closed beginning 3 pm, March 16th until further notice.   Restaurants, cafes, coffee houses and bars may continue to serve food on a take out basis only.

ALL Michigan Schools K-12 (public and private) will be closed by order of the governor, March 15-April 5th
St Clair County School Districts:
March 16-April 13:
All events open to the public (Plays, musicals, PTA meetings, concerts, kindergarten roundup , etc) will be cancelled or postponed.
All international and domestic travel to group events are cancelled
All spring athletic practices and competitions are cancelled
All events scheduled by outside organizations at local schools are cancelled

Criminal Justice & Law Enforcement Career Panel - March 19th cancelled
SAT Test Prep Workshop - March 21 cancelled
First Robotics: Immediate suspension of the first season & cancellation of scheduled championship events.
Hunter Hospitality House
Both Hunter Hospitality Houses are closed until further notice.
Hope Blooms Banquet is being postponed.  A new date is yet to be decided.


Local City and Township offices:

All residents are encouraged to conduct business with their local municipal offices via mail, email, or online rather than in person.  Bills can be paid online, over the phone or in drop boxes where available.  If you have any questions about local services, please call your local city or township office.

McMorran Civic Theatre and Arena events with over 100 people in expected attendance are canceled.

International Symphony Orchestra - Birthday Letters performance for March 27 & 28 are canceled.

Palmer Park Community Center events are canceled.

McLaren Port Huron:  Is restricting visitors at all campuses:

Obstetric patients:  1 partner and 1 birth support person
Pediatric patients:  1 adult visitor
ICU Patients - 1 visitor
Patients with mental disabilities or developmental delays - 1 visitor
Patient undergoing surgery - 1 visitor (who will need to leave the hospital as soon as possible after surgery)
Patients with outpatient appointments - 1 visitor
ER Patients - 1 visitor
Restrictions may be lifted for End of Life Patients
ALL visitors will go through a health screening at the entrance
All hospital programs and support group meetings are cancelled through the end of March

St. Clair County Community College

On-campus classes will be cancelled for the week of March 16-20. Online classes will continue as scheduled. Faculty will work to transition on-campus courses to alternative formats over the next week and be in contact with students. While the situation continues to evolve, please note that the alternative class solutions may remain in place for the balance of the Winter 2020 semester. Council on Aging

The Council on Aging, at the recommendation of the County Health Department all Senior centers will be closed.  In-home services and home-delivered meals programs will continue.

The 14th Annual State of the Country Address in St Clair County has been moved to Friday, June 12th. 

Lake Huron Medical Center:
All visitors must enter through the main entrance and will be subject to a health screening. 
Visitors are restricted to age 15 or above.  People over 65 are encouraged not to visit their loved ones.
Sick and direct admission patients will enter through the Emergency Room door
St Clair County Health Dept:
Both the Walk in Monday and schedule appointments for Vaccinations have been suspended.
Marlette Regional Hospital:
The hospital is restricting entrance to the facility only to those needing hospital services.  People having outpatient procedures requiring a driver may be accompanied by a healthy driver.  Exceptions may be made for compassionate and end of life care.
