The community calendar is a no charge service for special events for legal non-profit organizations.  Information must be submitted in writing, at least 3 weeks before the event.  The radio stations reserve the right to edit and/or decline information submitted to the community calendar.   Because of FCC rules, we are not able to include fund raising activities on air but can be considered for our website calendar.

July 21-25

Hunters Creek Community Church is hosting an International Spy Academy Vacation Bible School as well as a soccer camp on July 21st-25th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. The Lighthouse Community Church in Sarnia is hosting a summer day camp for kids ages 3-10 on July 21st- 25th. Children will experience the sea like never before! Temple Baptist Church in Sarnia is hosting four weeks of Summer Day Camp on  July 21-25July 28-August 1, and August 11- 15.  Activities include Bible stories, Swimming, Olympic Day, Bowling, Crafts, and Games

New Life Christian Academy will hold a Rummage Sale on July 31st-August 2nd from 9 am to 6 pm each day on the school campus.  The school is located on the corner of Griswold and Wadhams Roads in Kimball Township. 

Colonial Woods Missionary Church Presents "Mayhem in Mayville" a dinner theater event for the whole family. The dinner theater will be on July 25th at the Colonial Woods Missionary Church Chapel from 6:00-9:00. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for students. You may purchase tickets by calling 810.984.5571

The Croswell churches will be holding their Community Bible School on July 28th-30th from 6:00-8:00 pm. The Bible School will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Croswell and the theme is National Parks.

The Senior Center invites Seniors to a free 1 hour seminar by Healthy Steps on July 30th at 10:00 am. The seminar is designed to provide basic education about proper foot diabetes care. You may RSVP by calling 810.984.5061



July 28- August 1
Emanuel Redeemer Lutheran Church in Yale is having a World Cup Soccer Vacation Bible School on July 28th- August 1 from 9:00-11:30 am. August 2
Griswold Street Baptist Church is having a Back to School Clothing Giveaway. They will be giving out gently used children's clothing and school supplies. The giveaway is on August 2nd from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. They are also still collecting gently used clothing and school supplies for the giveaway. 

The Richmond Community Baptist Church will be putting on a "Free Family Fun Fest" for the whole community on Saturday August 2nd from 2:00- 8:00 pm. There will be a bounce house, face painting, games and a concert starting at 4:00 pm. 

August 3
The Forest Baptist Church welcomes the Lindley Creek Bluegrass in an outdoor concert in Forest, Ontario on Sunday August 3rd. There will be a barbecue starting at 5:30 pm and the concert starting at 6:30 pm. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to bring lawn chairs.

August 3-7
The Lexington Community Churches are hosting "Bible Times Market Place" from August 3rd-7th from 5:45 pm to 8:00 pm at the Lexington United Methodist Church. All 4 year olds through 8th grade are welcome. Participating Churches include: Lexington United Methodist Church, Trinity Episcopal and Ave Maria Catholic Church. August 5
August 5th is the National Night Out event. Night Out is designed to heighten drug and crime prevention awareness, generate support, and strengthen neighborhoods and send a message to criminals that we are fighting back. Anytime between 1-10 pm residents are asked to turn outside lights on and spend the evening outside with neighbors and police. "Once Upon A Treasure" St. Nicholas Annual Rummage Sale will be held on August 7th, 8th, and 9th. Thursday and Friday the sale will be from 9:00 am- 6:00 pm and on Saturday from 9:00 am- Noon. The sale will be held at St. Nicholas Church in Capac.


August 8

August 9

The Council on Aging is hosting the 2014 Memory Walk for Dementia and Alzheimer Care on August 19 beginning at 6:30 pm with registration beginning at 6:00 pm. Trinity Anglican Church in Sarnia is hosting ALPHA on every Tuesday from 6:00- 9:00 pm starting September 16th and ending November 4th. ALPHA is an opportunity to explore the Christian faith, brush up on the basics of the faith or introduce a friend to Christianity.
